The City of Weston wishes a Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. We hope you are able to celebrate safely.

City offices and park hours will vary slightly this week in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. City administrative offices will close at noon on Wednesday, November 25 and will reopen Monday, November 30. Parks will close at 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 26 only. Garbage and recycling collection will operate as regularly scheduled.
Thanksgiving Pet Safety
It’s not just your health and safety to consider on Thanksgiving, the holiday can present safety hazards for your pets too. Try not to change their regular eating/walking routine and be sure not to feed them any leftovers. Much of what we eat can be damaging to their health. Most importantly, make sure they’re wearing their identification. Guests coming in and out of the home give pets a perfect escape opportunity.

Where's George? He's Back to Explore Weston's Parks
A Return to Week 6 Clue
George is so excited to get back to his favorite City of Weston parks now that they're all dry. And he's offering a second chance to work on the clue for week six. Take some time to explore our parks this weekend and submit your answers for weeks one through six. We have lots of Weston swag to give away!
Here's the clue for Week 6:
Tucked between Indian Trace and I-75, there's plenty of shade at this City of Weston park, making it one of George's favorite picnic spots. Pack a healthy lunch or snack (George prefers apples) and don't forget to bring a blanket when you snap your photo here. See if you can "point" out the Calophyllums and Gumbo Limbo trees.

Howdy would you mind letting me know which webhost you're working with? I've loaded your blog in 3 completely different browsers and I must say this blog loads a lot quicker then most. Can you recommend a good web hosting provider at a fair price? Thanks, I appreciate it!
