So you think you know what does and does not go in your recycling cart?

It's Time for a Flu Shot
Be Protected
With many local clinics and pharmacies offering seasonal flu shots, now is the time to protect yourself and your family. Many flu shot providers make the process quick and easy and some even offer gift cards upon completion. Check with your local clinic and pharmacy for availability.
Be a Good Neighbor Day
Think about the many reasons you love living in Weston. One is the sense of community. Good Neighbor Day is recognized on September 28 across the U.S. and is the perfect time to say ‘Hi’ to that neighbor you have yet to meet. Weston is a safe community, but knowing your neighbor makes every community a closer community.
Weston Rotary Run: Registration is Open for Virtual Race
The Rotary Club of Weston, the City of Weston and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is gearing up for the 23rd Annual Rotary Run for Tomorrow and Fitness & Health Festival in December. While all run events (5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Half Marathon Relay, and the Mayor’s Get Fit Challenge) will be held virtually, the Health & Fitness Festival will take place at locations throughout the City on December 6. More details to follow.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all runners will participate in the races at a location of their choice and complete their run any time between December 5 through 13.

Construction for FDOT SR 84 & I-75 Connector Ramp Begins September 19
The Florida Department of Transportation has awarded a contract to begin construction, on September 19, on a new entrance ramp from eastbound SR 84 to southbound I-75. The project also includes the installation of sound walls and overhead sign structures. Congressional districts are also redrawn based upon census data. Make sure your voice is heard. Complete your census questionnaire before September 30.
