La BGV es un método que combina técnicas de hipnosis, sugestión y reprogramación de conductas. González es nutricionista e hipnoterapeuta con postgrado en Ciencias de Alimentos. “Reducir su capacidad estomacal y cambiar sus hábitos para siempre”, afirma la especialista.

Preparando a su inconsciente. En talleres o consultas privadas la licenciada González prepara a sus participantes para ser hipnotizados: “Primero damos una introducción sobre cómo funciona nuestro metabolismo y la serotonina.  Además de explicar la  importancia de una alimentación variada y balanceada, que incluye los grupos de alimentos básicos (proteínas, carbohidratos, frutas y vegetales).  Seguido doy recomendaciones nutricionales para controlar el peso y como cierre de la primera parte, los participantes de talleres anteriores cuentan su experiencia sobre la pérdida de peso. 
En la segunda fase del taller o consulta se introduce al participante en la sesión hipnótica. La técnica consiste en la visualización de la colocación por laparoscopia de una banda gástrica que rodea la parte superior del estómago, dividiéndolo en dos segmentos: uno superior  para contener la pequeña porción de alimento, y un segmento inferior; ambos unidos por una abertura estrecha, de manera de retardar el paso del alimento del segmento superior al inferior, produciendo así una sensación de saciedad precoz, similar a la que se logra con los procedimientos de cirugía bariátrica”. 

"Durante el proceso, mientras el paciente se encuentra en un estado alfa, recibiendo toda la información en su subconsciente, se describe la intervención quirúrgica paso a paso para que la pueda visualizar como si de hecho estuviera siendo operado", explica González, 
"Al implantar la BGV se trabaja con el inconsciente del paciente, se reprograman sus hábitos alimentarios y la cantidad de comida requerida para alcanzar la saciedad, de manera que la persona queda satisfecha consumiendo una cantidad de alimento mucho menor a la que acostumbraba comer, pues su estómago está reducido a menos de la mitad de su tamaño habitual", detalla la especialista.

Pautas del tratamiento:
Escuchar dos veces al día las grabaciones con las consignas de autosugestión, entregadas a los participantes en CD’s junto a material de apoyo y guía nutricional.

Cumplir las consignas: Use platos pequeños; no coma de pie o caminando; corte la comida en trozos pequeños; entre bocado y bocado, coloque los cubiertos sobre la mesa; mastique despacio; tome líquidos antes o después de las comidas; Si “cuidarse eligiendo bien” no le funciona, haga dieta y cúmplala. La mejor dieta es la que puede seguir y sostener sin esfuerzo; cuando enfrente una comida rica en calorías, en lugar de reprimirla es preferible que la satisfaga con una “miniporción degustada”.

Recomendaciones para controlar el peso:
1. Haga tres comidas y dos meriendas basadas en fruta, yogurt, galletas integrales baja en grasa, frutos secos como maní, merey, nueces, granola, entre otros.

2. Evite saltarse las comidas y controle la ración que se sirve (sírvase en plato pequeño).
3. Tome agua (entre 8 y 10 vasos diarios).
4.  Evitar comidas  consumo frecuente de bebidas muy azucaradas o gaseosas.
5. Realice actividad mínimo tres veces por semana, durante 40 minutos.

TALLAHASSEE –The Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Florida Park Service will celebrate National Kids to Parks Day on Saturday, May 18. Parents are encouraged to celebrate by bringing their children to a state park for a picnic, a hike in the woods or a refreshing swim.
"National Kids to Parks Day provides a wonderful opportunity for families to experience Florida's natural beauty with a fun day outside," said Florida Park Service Director Donald V. Forgione. "This Saturday, gather your kids and friends and head to a Florida state park to explore nature and enjoy our famous sunshine."
