City of Miami Beach Storm Water Drainage Upgrade

Construction Update
What's New:
On Monday, February 13, 2017, the west side of the intersection of Washington Avenue and 17 Street will be continuously closed for approximately ten (10) days. All traffic will be detoured throughout the area to use 16 Street (See map below).

This work is part of the Public Works Department storm water drainage upgrades along Washington Avenue from 17 Street to 18 Street and on 17 Street from Pennsylvania Avenue to Washington Avenue.

Community Advocacy Services

Every Third Tuesday

FedAssist - Representatives from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will be available to answer questions and general information to the public on a walk-in basis. Resource materials to help you study for the citizenship test will also be available.  

Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) - will be providing services for low-income veteran families: Short Term Case Management, Rental Assistance, Utility Deposit/Rental Assistance, Security Deposit Assistance, Patriot Pass Assistance, Emergency Supplies, and Childcare Assistance.   

The Department of Children and Families (DCF) will be offering their

ACCESS program - which provides the following services: Temporary Cash Assistance, Food Stamps, Medicaid, and Refugee Assistance
